Polypropylene random copolymer grades by TOTAL are often used in applications which require a living hinge, such as videotape & DVD cases. The chemical resistance of polypropylene makes it better suited to most applictions that are subject to cleaning with household cleaners, than standard polycarbonate or polystyrene.

Polypropylene 3429: Leach resistant in hot/wet environments that contain bleach and laundry detergents. This engineered homopolymer contains LTHA resistance additives. Recommended applications include: washing machine, dishwasher, and coffee machine parts.


Polypropylene 3467: Extrusion grade, FDA approved for food contact, and has high unnotched impact strength and surface hardness. It can be extruded to make film, tape, profiles, monofilaments, and more.


Polypropylene 3620WZ: Nucleated, clear injection molding grade. Can increase productivity via faster cycle time, and high melt flow. It FDA approval for food contact, and can also be used to make medical appliances, and more.


Polypropylene 6824MZ: Clear, super high melt flow, FDA approved for food contact, antistatic- avoids attracting dust, hingable. Used in injection molding housewares, cassette cases, and other items calling for impact strength and clarity.
