Bayblend is a blend of Bayer's popular Makrolon® Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) resin, and is available in the following grades:
Bayblend FR 110: Flame retardant with ultra-high melt-flow, impact strength and rigidity make it exceptional for thin walled injection molding and extrusion applications. Bayblend FR 110 also has good color stability, and maintains high impact strength even at low temperatures. Applications include, appliances, automotive interior and exterior parts, packaging, electrical, electronics, lawn and garden equipment, household goods, business equipment, and profile and sheet extrusion.
Bayblend T 88-4N: Ultra-high flexural strength and flex modulus; rigid, with very good dimensional stability. Applications include - housings, electrical equipment, appliances, automotive interior and exterior parts, packaging, electronics, lawn and garden equipment, household goods, and business equipment.
