Lubricant Concentrate SA-5004

SA 5004 lubricant concentrate contains a high percentage of ultra high molecular weight silicone lubricant in a HIPS carrier. At levels of 1 to 5% it improves lubricity and slip, reduces friction, improves wear, enhances mar & abrasion resistance, and extend the useful life and duty cycle of products which are subject to friction. Lubricant SA-5004 is commonly blended with GPPS, MIPS, HIPS, ABS, or ASA. It Has minimal effect on post decoration including hot-stamping, pad printing and silk-screening.

Processing of styrene based materials is also improved when using as little as 0.1 to 1.0 percent of lubricant SA 5002. Some of the typical benefits experienced are increased flow, improved mold filling, lowered extruder torque, internal lubrication, better mold release, faster cycle times, and reduced warpage.
