Safoam is an endothermic foaming agent, which decomposes under process temperatures to produce microcellular foam in molded or extruded parts. Safoam is available in a wide variety of powders and concentrates which are efficient and economical.

Safoam can be used in an extensive range of applications.  It is currently being applied in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, appliance, toy and structural material industries. Safoam reduces internal stress and eliminates warpage and cooling sink marks.  Safoam is also used to achieve significant weight reduction without loss of physical properties and to enhance acoustic and thermal insulation properties.

Produced under food ingredient conditions with the highest levels of quality control, Safoam is inherently safe to use and all components are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) as prior sanctioned by the Federal Food and Drug Administration.
