No processing changes are typically needed after including anti-microbial gentsinmost thermoplastic materials. Antimicrobial Agents can withstand the processing temperatures of many thermoplastic materials. They are also able to withstand exposure to many chemicals, UV, adhesives, and other outside influences. Antimicrobial Agents can be compounded into color concentrates or virgin materials, or added at the machine during processing.
